I just purchased a Leadtek 2000 XP Deluxe for $42 from Newegg and was wondering if overclocking my nVidia agp video card will effect either capture, editing, rendering or viewing TV. It seems like most of this, except maybe viewing TV, is done by the cpu and not by the video card. Anyway, should I overclock my video card? I know how, by the way. Thanks.

Overclocking your video card will not speed up any of capturing and video in viewing operation. It speeds up usually only 3D part og graph. card, so even screen operations will not work faster.
Most of duty by capture is done by PCI bus and HD drive, and compression is that, what is made by CPU.
