Forced Sub alignment

when adding the forced subs with textsub filter in vdmod the ending file comes out with the subs below the black bar. i have adjusted them through the filter settings...in the preveiw window of vdub they show exactly where i want them but they are not in the output avi.



i have tried to add them in the avs file but that never works...am i doing something wrong or is there an easier way?

you say you see the subtitles you want, where you want, in the output window of Virtualdub before you encode and when you finish encoding they are not there?
