Burning at x4 with 105 using Firewire

I have problem burning at x4 speed with my Pioneer 105 using an external caddy connected to the PC with Firewire. I can only burn at x2 speed, All drives are in DMA mode, I've updated the ASPI layer too. I'm using version 4.00 of RecordNow Max. Does anyone have any suggestions.
