Tell me please,
why I cannot load movie (make by InstantCopy) to DVDShrink?
When I try do it, DVDShrink says:

DVD Shrink encountered an error and cannot continue this operation.
invalid nv_pck: nv_vobu_ea
The reason is: Unknown

In case you have removed titles with IC version 7.x, it will break the structure of the DVD. That is why DVDShrink will complain when loading those files.
I'm not so sure about IC8.
What version do you have?

7.x.
I haven't checked 8.x yet.

Why DVDDecrypter can manage with this rip, while Shrink cannot?

DVDDecrypter just copies the DVD to disk.
DVDShrink copies the DVD to disk and then it recompresses it. Perhaps it performs a quick test on DVD structure before it starts copying to disk.

Anyway you should always rip first to disk with DVDDecrypter before you shrink it with DVDShrink. :sly:

DVDDecrypter isn't parsing navigation packs in the VOB like DVDShrink is...

Try ripping it to your harddrive, then using IFOEdit to 'Get VTS Sectors' and then run DVDShrink on it.

Should this be happening even if I use 'Get VTS Sectors' option before burning a movie (but after IC process)?

I have already checked IC8 and I had the same problem as with the previous one.

I did everything as suggested above, after using 'Get VTS Sectors' IfoEdit didn't have to correct anything (sectors were already properly set) - but there was still the same problem in DVDShrink.

I have the same problem and use IfoEdit to Create new IFO. Then DVDShrink would work for me.

Same thing here. Sometimes I use IC7 to do the backup, but the resulting files are slightly oversized so that I have to throw them to DVDShrink to recompress to the desired size. If I uncompress the .pdi's and pass them to Shrink, it complains, but if I generate an iso with pdi2iso, mount it with daemon tools and open it with Shrink, everything works ok. I can't understand why, but it works usually (although I've only done this a couple of times). Try it yourself, maybe this helps :)
