I have ripped a DVD and wants to split it into two DVD-r discs. The probelm is that I canīt use DVDfab (wich is the ony "splitting program" I have) because there is no chapters on the DVD and DVDfab seems to use them to find a splitting point.

Please help me with my problem.

I don't know if that really falls into this forum as it is mainly concerned with 1:1 backups. Maybe someone here can help you out.

Yes DVDfab needs chapters to split.

The only other option I can think of is to use DVDshrink in the reauthor mode to split as two DVDs. Run dvdshrink once for each half. This will also result in the lost of the menu. There was a guide how to do this earlier based on chapters, you can use a prefered scene and get close enough.

It is possible to add chapters to your IFO but not worth it IMHO.

How about DVDToolbox? Not sure if it uses chapters or not.
