Hey there,

i'm pretty new to this and first of: Yes I tried to use the Search option to find a solution to my problem.
So here it is:

I have an Iso-Image of the Movie Hollywood Homicide. The DVD has both the Fullscreen and Widescreen Movie. So basically I only need one of them. (I don't really care if I have only the full or only the wide). Well, the Movie (one, in this case the Fullscreen) itself has 3846MB (including all Audio and Subs) and all the extras about 300MB, so all of this would fit on a DVD-R without using CCE to reduce size. Problem here is, VTS 1 is Widescreen (3842MB) and VTS 5 is Fullscreen (3846MB), so either I keep both movies an go through the whole DoItFast4U, DCCE4U, etc. or I just find an easier way to get rid of the fullscreen (or widescreen, as I said, I don't care which one stays on the Backup).
My question: Is there an easier way?
Ohh yes, if it doesn't have to be changed, I wouldn't want to change the DVD-menu, even though it will always ask me if I want Fullscrenn or Widescreen when starting the DVD (I'll just klick the one I keept every time).

It's not as easy as just deleting all the VTS 5 Vobs, is it???
I'm sure a whole lot of reauthoring has to be done.
I read some of the Guides by 2COOL but hope there's an easier way.

Thanx in advance

With the chanses of beeing called a n00b I'll think you can run the dvd through almost _any_ of the so-called fast 1:1 backup programs leaving out the stream you don't want. If the scenario really is that the total file size of ei. the widescreen version incl audio, subs and menu is under dvdr capacity, then there's no need for further compressing the video stream, thus perserving perfect quality, and ei. CloneDVD (just to mention one) can do the job.

I'm sure there're other way that I haven't thought of, or simply are unaware of, but this would be really fast and somewhat simple I might add.
