CCE 2.5 - what operatingsystem do I need ?

I have sometimes problem with crashes in the cce 2.5 when i make svcd:s with DVD2SVCD. I used multipass VBR 4 passes.
Never had a problem using CBR-mode.
I just wonder what kind of operatingsystem cce 2.5 suports ?
I have read the Official cce homepage (www.cinemacraft.com)but i can only see what the new versions suports.

Does this mean that I should dissable HT-tecnologi before i run CCE 2.5 ?
Could this HT-tecnologi cause CCE 2.5 to crash ?
Is CCE-SP 2.64 or CCE-SP 2.66 a better alternativ to use with HT-tecnologi ?

You shouldn't disable it - and I don't think that it's even possible as you probably would have to reinstall XP to do that properly - the program simply doesn't use it;)

I suppose that the later versions use it but I wouldn't bet on it.

I guess i haven to loook somewhere else for the reason tha CCE2.5 will crash somtimes..

offically, no

in reality, varies from computer to computer.

2.64+ is guaranteed to work fine on XP

iirc 2.5 is SMP aware, avisynth however isnt.
