xvid for pocket pc ?

hello,

is there a way to compress a dvd into xvid to make an avi which can be viewed in a pocket pc ? (i jsut saw divx players for pocket pc, and i don't know if it can play xvid movies)

I think there's no problem. I used Xvid to create a small MP4 clip to watch on my nokia 7650 phone.

I think that pocket pc use MPEG4 Simple profile, so try it (no bframes, no GMC, QPel, and other settings). Make some tests, it should go.

I also think it's just a software matter, no problem with Xvid. If you use anything that can use MPEG4, you can surely use DivX and Xvid.
