After using gknot exactly like in GordianKnot_HowTo.txt to crop, choose resolution and create AVS file,no mater which codec I choose (DivX 3.11,DivX5 or XVid) to work with,if I use Nandub for first and second pass the final result will allways be a Div3 file.
I have to work with VirtualDubMod if I want to choose which video compresion I like.Nandub have no button for selecting video compresion like VirtualDubMod.
Can you tell me how can I select in Nandub the codec for video compresion?

Haven't use NanDub for awhile now, but if I recall correctly the only other codec that you can use is MS MPEG4 v2.
I think you have missed the whole point of NanDub, which is SBC DivX3 encoding, if you don't want that, then use something else to encode, like VirtualDubMod, which would be faster anyway, due to YV12 during fast recompress.

Nandub in default produce DivX3.11a avis.(if u have installed the codec) :D Nandub was just created to encode mainly in DivX3.11.Thus it has only 2 codec options DiVX3.11 & MS-MPEG4.

I didn't know that, but now I read the manual for Nandub.
In your opinion which video codec is better to use now?
