1)cce encoding failed: Error: Video check-sum is different from that of previous pass.
Source video data or time code may be different
Please check video tape or information file.

current: check sum=006998ac
previous: check sum=0069aabc

2)Also, can someone tell me which logfile I would post when here for help when I have problems during the encoding?

3)I'm running CCESPT 2.50
DoCCE4U 1.0.5.1 Beta And Eclcce for 2.67+
Are these programs somehow incompatible b/c CCE keeps freezing up on me everytime I try to run it.

thank you
John

For 1)

Read the FAQ Q8. It has some recommendations on the causes of the problem and possible fixes.

Also, Check out the DVD2SVCD forums FAQ. Q60 has some good tips that apply to CCE in general (and some that are specific to DVD2SVCD) also Q27 has a link to a patch to disable CRC checking, so you won't get those Check sum errors. But be aware that that error is often just a symptom of the problem and applying the patch just covers it up. It won't do anything to help crashing or freezing.

2.) I don't know about DoCCE4U, but CCE's log files are mostly worthless.

3.) I don't know. EclCCE isn't needed for 2.5, except for commandline support and the EclCCE manual says it is compatible for that purpose.

However, if CCE is crashing/freezing in the middle of an encode it is probably a problem with CCE itself and not an incompatibility problem.
