I searched the board but haven't found anyone dealing with this particular issue just yet.
I'm attempting to edit some material I extracted from my digital video recorder. Upon extraction I get a .m2v and .mp2 file with my video and audio, respectively. I usually run the video through DVD2avi and then virtual dub to edit out commercials, etc.
The .m2v file plays fine, but when i run it through DVD2AVI and then open up the d2v file in virtual dub I get areas where frames repeat, or it will seem that it plays a few frames & then repeats a frame from a second or so earlier.
I have uploaded a small mpeg1 file that shows what I'm seeing.

Any suggestions are much appreciated.
