ffdshow settings question

What are the best settings in the post-processing section in ffdshow?

Process whole image: on/off?
Presets slider at the far right side?
Automatic quality control : on/off?
Proccessing strenght : xxx ?
Processing method : Mplayer, nic´s or nic´s first?

Sorry asking what's "best" is a violation of the rules.

Things like post-processing are so subjective. The "best for you" is to try out what's "best for you".
