Usually when I rip a movie of mine it works out just fine. However one movie that I have ripped that is darker, Men in Black, has a green sploch all over it when I play it. Normally I would rerip it however the thing is that when I hit play over and over and it goes through the same opening sequence the sploch isn't in the same place. One time it even looked nice and clear for a few seconds before it went back to crap on the next scene. Any idea what I need to do that I'm not doing? What player is best for divx? I was using WMP or Windvd Platinum. Is there some player or filters that I can get that would clean it up right away?
Thanks

ok not just green. that's just the opening scene. The rest looks like watercolors. and sometimes I can play the same scene over and it won't look bad at all and other times you can't see anything.

LOL. For video, almost all generic video players are direct show players, including WMP. If you aren't familiar with dshow, you're probably using the xvid decoder. Playback doesn't have so much to do with the player you use, but the filters installed. FFDshow works quite well for most people.
