Hi All,
I have an Asus V8480 Ultra Deluxe with VIVO, and I'm using it to capture VHS video to DV avi (MainConcept). I use VirtualDubSync to get perfect a/v sync. I have the latest WDM (1.22).
This works great most of the times, but occasionally I get a big white bar across the captured image. See http://home.hccnet.nl/j.zuiderhoek/capture_error.jpg for an example. The video above and below run fine.
This bar does not show in the preview-window. Most of the times it is only at the start of a capture, and lasts from a couple of frames to a couple of minutes. Very rarely, it also shows in the middle of a capture, and it disappears as mystriously as it came.
Anyone experienced the same ? Any solutions ?
I think it is either the hardware (Philips chipset), the WDM driver, the capturing app. or the encoder. Or maybe I'm completely wrong here...
(B.t.w. I've had this problem from the start, using any WDM version starting at 1.10, I believe...)
Thanks,
The Jez
