VirtualDub 1.5.5 - Is it faster? What bugs did you encounter?

Well, I encountered one serious bug in VDub 1.5.5.
When I encode MPEG clip to AVI - there are vertical black stripes all around the output window and of course on the output AVI file. With the same settings in 1.5.4 - there are no such stripes. And by the tests I've made - I think this experimental build is a bit slower than 1.5.4. How is it with you?

That MPEG glitch is one of the known bugs. If you are able to compile the source code, I can tell you where the bug is and how to fix it. Alternatively, I made an MPEG-2 version (http://fcchandler.home.comcast.net/experimental) of 1.5.5 which doesn't have that particular bug (though it probably inherits lots of other bugs from the experimental 1.5.5 code). :D
