When I convert AVI to DVD I usually select 4:3 because my TV is that size. But, if I were to select 1:1 would this mean it would auto-select what type of TV I have when playing back in a DVD player ? Just that if I lend some of my movies to friends and they have a 16:9 TV, then they can get the best out of it too.
Does this make sense ? Basically speaking, if a AVI movie is widescreen, what selection should I pick (baring in mind it will be played back on 4:3 TVs too) ? 4:3, 16:9, or 1:1 ?
Many thanks !!
