The AVI file opens fine, and I can do a direct stream copy, but I can't change the audio compression format as it gives me the above error. I ran GSpot and this is what it tells me :
Audio Stream 1 Codec : 0x0055(MP3) ID'd as MPEG-1 Layer 3
When I render it in GSpot, I get the following :
Audio Src : MPEGLAYER3 (MP3) (0x0055)
Audio Path : (S) --> AVI Splitter --> MPEG Layer-3 Decoder --> (R)
There must be a codec installed somewhere, as I can play this AVI in Media Player, etc. Or am I missing something here? Do I need a different codec?
