Hi,
the title says it all. We are planning to announce this job proposal on other forums also, but decided to start posting here because it will definitely reack a wide audience on Doom9, and also a lot of hi-class developers.
Our problem is, Gabest is pretty busy with his new job it seems, he can hardly code on MPC and VobSub ( his most important projects ), leave alone on the matroska, AVI or Real parser filters he has made before.
Unfortunately this means we are stranded with all the new stuff we already have in preparation, like vobsub in MKV and the like. Therefore we are searching for a versed developer with some background in DirectShow coding ( not an expert like Gabest, that would help, but is not required ) who plans to permanently join the matroska team and will care about the DirectShow parser filter, and maybe in future also a muxing filter ( Gabest' filter is great and there is no immediate need to replace/overwork it ).
If you feel you are up for the job and fit into our team, pls. drop me an email to chris at matroska dot org.
