I am using a WinFast TV 2000 XP and the bundled Ulead software. I captured The VCR version of "The Good The Bad And The Ugly" and recorded it to CD. Mostly it worked great.
But, in one scene 2 cowboys walking form left to right. For a brief instant they (it appears) walk for right to left, in other words they walk backwards.
I am new to this and want some advise . I checked the file before recording to cd (on hard drive) and it does not do this. Only does this on cd. I did record it again to cd and the same happened.:)

What kind of CD? SVCD?
Playback on TV?

When capturing from a VCR sometimes the picture is unstable and the fields are mixed up making a temporarily bad field order. Perhaps deinterlacing the bad frames may help?

I made a SVCD and playback was on a RCA DVD player and a TV. This kind of problem also accurred on my computer.
I use Ulead DVD Movie Factory 2 SE.
Also another problem is that that the capture can't be opened with software from this site. Ulead may be creating an odd type of capture? This problem came up after I thought that deinterlacing could help. This idea came from some reading on this site and others although I barely understand it.
Other than this small problem the results were great. But I want to do something about preventing this in the future.
