hi to all!
i have a small problem , maybe you heard of it and can help.
i use VirtualDumMod1.5.4.1(build 2066/release)
when i decode a movie in XviD using 2 Bframes , i open the decoded
movie with the above VDM and i get the following warning
"warning:nothing to output bframe decoder lag"
the movie is fine and even better looking then when i used 0 Bframes
and uses smaller size , so it actually uses more bitrate with 2 Bframes!
i have the folowing apps:
XviD-24062003-1 _ALPHA_ Release
ffdshow build date May 23 2003
i used quarterpel and croma motion and 2 Bframes to decode

if someone encountered this problem and can offer a soulution
i'll really appritiate it, tnx

Look at this thread (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=59001) for an explanation. Next time search the forum first before posting a question that has already been answered many times.

@Assault
i did searced the forum , and could't find an answer on what should i do
even in the thread you posted there is no direct answer on what
to do so that there won't be that warning:
"warning:nothing to output bframe decoder lag"
"Nic wrote"
"gives me some sort of error about the b-fram lag or something"
Be more accurate next time...anyway don't worry about it, its caused by the vfw interface which can't handle B-Frames, it won't show up when using the DShow filter for decoding.

should i use othe VDM or is there something i missed
is there no way so that message won't appear

As Nic wrote it's caused by the vfw interface, you can't do anything to change that. But I don't understand why it's a problem for you. That message only appears in VDM and not when you watch your clips with any media player (because Media player use directshow).
