I Have an AVI File, using NanBDub i can split it but the nandub only see`s 144 Mins where the file is 150 mins when opened and run o.k using divx 2.5.
It plays fine using divx and if i cut the file using nandub it works in vcd format but alas is missing the last 6 mins that is shown in divx player.

One note, when i 1st open the file in nandub is recreates missing index files and instead of going right to the end of like 600000 bits it stops at 599000, so im guessing thats why nandub only shows 144 mins, the last 6 are missing from the index recrete, if that makes sense.

Any ideas ??????

I Hvae tried 7 different types of avi splitting tools, all of them dont work on this file, some say index not found, some say cant play file, some just bomb out.

why does divx play the whole file yet it wont split in nandub, its missing the last 6 mins.

Please help if possible,

cheers...........

Sounds like your file is either incomplete or b0rked. You can try if DivXFix helps (available on the Doom9 download page).

There is something I don't understand, you can play this file fine, but if you open the same file, Nandub start to reconstruct a missing index?

^,That is correct, Divx plays the file fine.

This is really strange, because if the index is missing you cannot play an AVI, normally you can play only incomplete Mpeg, not divx, try to open it with latest VirtualDub or VirtualDubMod and see what the log says. Try also gspot (you can find in the download section) and see what it says.

BTW I have never heard of DivX 2.5
