I want to make a DivX file from a DVD.
I am using GKnot 0.28.5.3beta.
The movie is Stephen King’s The Langoliers – region 1 NTSC.
I use DVD2AVI 1.77.3 by LOLI.J
I don’t know what should I do, I have read all the guides but I still do not understand.
So, my question is:
I rip the DVD with DVDDescripter.
Open it with DVD2AVI and I let the preview to run.
Aspect Ratio: 4:3
Frame Rate: 29.970 fps
Video Type: this is the problem. It is “jumping” from NTSC 20-50 and FILM 20-80.
Frame Type: also jumping from Progressive to Interlaced (very fast).
Field Operation is set to NONE.
According to the guides, I should check FORCED FILM only, when Video Type is FILM 95% or more.
What should I do?
I tried with these setting:
DVD2AVI :
- enabled FORCED FILM
GKnot:
- the frame rate is now 23.976 (because the FORCED FILM, I think)
Save And Encode Option:
- Field Operations : None
So, have I done good or wrong?
Please help me!
THANX,
Gurabli
