`Hi, I just downloaded a file from Kazaa called BadBoys2DVDScr.Xvid.VITE. The weird thing about it is i can't get it to work. It's playing, but no picture shows up on the screen. I don't know anything about how to decode or whatever I'm supposeed to do, so if anyone out there are willing to help, could you please give a thourough explanation? If so, then I would be very grateful, I'm dying to see this movie!!
Thanks

BadBoys2DVDScr.Xvid.VITEThat means the movie is Bad Boys II, the source was a DVD screener (meaning quality is as you'd expect from a DVD rip, but there might be some logos or black/white parts, or text scrolling over the video informing you that the movie is property of Columbia/Tristar pictures), the codec used to encode the movie is XviD and the group who released the movie is VITE.
Now, this tells us a lot: First of all, Bad Boys II has not been released on DVD yet, so unlike you work in the movie biz there's no way you should have a copy of Bad Boys II. Since you've freely admitted that you downloaded the file, we are sure you're not supposed to have the film. Furthermore, the naming convention and the group name are clear indications that we're dealing with an illegal file.
As per rule6 and the guidelines to this rule (http://forum.doom9.org/announcement.php?s=&forumid=6), you are not to ask for help with illegal files, and nobody is allowed to help you with it. Therefore, I must close this thread now.
