Hello,
Just want to give some advice. I reccomend getting Spybot Search And Destroy. It is a program that takes out all the cookies and spyware on your computer.
I have the adaware version of Divx5.5. I run spybot and it finds all the files associated with adaware, GATOR is the spyware.
There are about five associated files. Most importand is the log files generated. What you can do is erase them and just reinstall DIVX5.
That is useful if you do it the first time and have alot of spyware and are unsure which ones are associated with divx. Then you can reinstall DIVX and run spybot again. Then you will be sure that those are the files. At this point you do not have to delete them but can hold them in spybot and then reinstall when you are ready to go again. you will see the log type folders that are generated and you can erase them. I would not stay on the internet as you are running GK. I was blocked off of doom9 afterdoing so!!!!! Fixed it with spybot. I saw that the Film Induystry says it is giong to follow suit in the way the RIAA has been acting.
Generous usage of find all files and erasing your ie5's and keeping you history settings at minimum Is recommended. GK has helped me so I'd like to help some of you out.
