View Full Version : Did VDubMod has P4 optimized?

we know vdubmod come from VirtualDub.And VirtualDub had a version called P4 optimized,This version is compiled for processors supporting SSE2 (Pentium 4 and Pentium-M) and will only run on those CPUs.But i don't see it in VDubMod.

Hmmz, I'd like it very much also, Vdub (P4) original is much faster here.

Well, you have to own the Intel compiler for the P4 version, none of us does. If you have it, you can compile it yourself.

There's no point in using a P4 optimized version of VDubMod. VDubMod is a frontend. When you want to speed up your car, do you give it a new coat of paint, or do you tweak its engine? VDubMod is akin to the coat of paint in this analogy.

Frontend? What are you talking about? VirtualDubMod is a modified VDub.
