Beastie Boy

Hello all.
The PCs at my work place have a screen saver set to come which then requires a password after 10 mins of inactivity.
I know a lot of software apps have an option to disable the screen saver whilst they are running, therefore I am guessing that it would be possible to have a small process running in the background that would prevent the screen saver popping up.
Note that I do not have the access privilages on the machine to disable the SS directly.
Is there an existing app that would suit my needs, or would it be easy to put something together? Idealy, the app would be hidden, only appearing in the 'Processes@ list and not in the task bar.
Cheers, Beastie.
This was meant to go in the General Forum. Could it be moved? Sorry.
