Backup of PS2 games

Anyone know if there are any limitations of backing up ps2 games with
dvddecrypter and dvd shrink if applicable?

PS2 is not covered in Doom9's forum. That stated, there are 65 threads that list PS2 in the title, including this one. You may be able to find your answer by searching through them.
