Lately my LF-D310 has been acting up and not wanting to burn much of anything. First off, I thought I bought an A03/A04 and it turned out to be some other company (Matshita, which after some research is really Panasonic, even though I thought Pioneer made the A03/A04). Anyways, the drive used to work great and burned things in my program which came with the drive (NeoDVDstandard). But lately it won't burn in either that program or Nero 5.5.8.0. In Nero it just constantly asking for media which can be used, rejecting both my generic disks and my Verbatim disks. I read that I need to make sure the drive is in the master slot (I confirmed on the physical drive and in the bios) and to turn off DMA mode. I can't figure out how to turn off the DMA mode, all directions on the internet tell me to go the IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers in the device manager, but all that's listed is this: http://www.geocities.com/dontmesswithtexas53719/capture.jpg
And I can't get into the option to disable the DMA. Somebody please help!
