Mine seems to have major problems, I was wondering if anyone else was experiancing this. It has a skipping and freezing problem. For example, when I would use the remote to play a song, the On Screen Display would say play, then the computer would freeze. Do you know of a fix anywhere for these problems? Im pretty sure the problems are software based, because when I used the windows drivers, the card didn't skip or freeze, but I also didn't have access to the audio switcher, or make the front panel work, or the eax. So the sound was really echoey on line in. About the skipping, when i play a song or movie, it will skip maybe 5 seconds every couple of minutes. This is not because of a low-end cpu, i have dual xeons and 2000mbs of memory!

heres my complete system specs:

dual 2.8 xeons (533fsb), 2gigz ddr, SB audigy 2 platinum, dv storm2, lianli pc70, dual 70gig scsi 10,000 rpm raid-0, dual 120 gig 7200 rpm ide, pioneer 4x dvd-r, tdk 48x cd-r, x5da8 motherboard, raid card, 980xgl video card

anyone else having these problems? thanx

I have an Audigy2 Platinum also and I love it. I've not experienced the problems you describe, but I know that at the Creative Labs website you can download many drivers for your system. If my memory serves me correctly, one has to do with the remote use of which you speak.

Good Luck.

P.S. I don't have the URL available to me right now. Sorry I didn't include it.
