AC3 problem

Hi,

I have the following problem : several video files and mainly movies that are with AC3 audio , do not sound right.The volume is kinda low, but more importantly the voices of people sound digital-like !

I do not have problems with other kinds of audio formats.

I tried to play with the settings of the AC3 filter but didnt fix it.

I have the KazaaLite full codec pack + ffdshow xvid codecs.I also have installed WinDVD but dont run it lately.

The ac3 filter of the KazaaLite pack seems to be the one recomended here,in the FAQ thread.

What can i do ? :(

I suppose u are using ac3 filter0.70.The problem can be due to incorrect Speaker setting.so go to control panel and run ac3filter config and select appropriate speaker setting.This has worked for me;)

codec packs are evil.

it wouldn't surprise me if you have problems because of it.

get yourself gspot, and install the codecs you need, if you need them.

why install a load of conflicting codecs, often hacked out of commercial apps?
