ask for mpeg-2 aac encoding software

since i found nokia 5510 could play aac files,i've been searching for a convenient encoding software.
i found out mb soft aac encoder,AACENC.EXE,
and aacmachine.
mb soft gives only three biterate choices,
aacenc.exe are running under DOS,
for aacmachine ,i cann't found out the encoder accessory .
when the accesory in aacenc soft was used to take place,i can figure out the compatible problem.

now,i'm tolerant with trivial operations using the aacenc soft.
i come to here with the hope that someone could help me escape from these trivia.

what's the difference between Psytel Fast AAC Encoder and Psytel AAC Encoder?
In disregard of encoding rate,can Fastnec provide the same quality that aaenc do?

No i mean MPEG-4 is a part of MPEG-4 specification(MPEG-2AAC is also a part i know) and new encoders use MPEG-4 Header.It was not meant on hearing but searching in google etc.so u can find new encoders available. :D

The usage of PsytelAAC encoder is creepy.U can try the dB powerAmp which uses the same encoder with its mp4 plugin.U can also enjoy batch conversion from one format to AAC using this.

search around on this great page if you want some more infos about aac itself, etc too

the difference between mpeg-2 aac and mpeg-4 aac is most of the time only the header (doesnt affect quality)
you can change from mpeg-4 to mpeg-2 with the tool Ivan & Menno (http://home.wanadoo.nl/~w.speek/ivan&menno.htm) (which is based on mp4creator from mpeg4ip like most apps which support this conversion)
you can also use ivan & menno for encoding with the psytel encoders, which makes this procedure very easy (just use the presets under "options")

aacmachine is something similar to ivan & menno (a gui) which was made mainly for ac3 -> aac conversion (by using psytel as encoder)
