I searched, but could find nothing about Mission Impossible 2. I seem to be having a large problem getting the right files ripped to my hard drive. T. I. A.

Riddler:) Riddle me this, riddle me that ...so, what exactly IS your problem? You need to give us more clues!;)

What ripper are you using?
What Mode did you select?
Are you getting read errors?
Is your DVD clean?
Is there any obvious scratches?
What do you mean by "right files"?

Well now, the problem is, when I rip with Smart Ripper or DVD Decrypter, I can rip the files of the main movie which is the VTS_06 series, but the burner program doesn't like those file at all. What I ended up doing is renamimg the files to to _01, and now I can burn. I need to find out if it has made a good copy. I know there is a simple way to do it, so give me the magic trick. Thanks. Perhaps next time I can give you a riddle to solve.

If all you're doing is a movie only, no menu backup then rip your all your VTS_06 files and re-author them through DVD Shrink 3.0 beta 5 (freeware). Here are some guides (http://www.dvdshrink.info/guides.php) to help you out.

if you just keep one audio track MI2 wouldn't have to be shrinked, you could get a perfect copy
