I want to know if a 2 channels WAV file that have been encoded in Dolby Surround 2 from a 6 channels AC3, then re-encoded to MP3 keeps the "surround informations" or just become a single stereo track. Thanks.

In my experience MP3 preserves the surround information well enough, even a relatively low bitrates (128 kbps), though I'd recommend higher bitrates as a matter of principle.
Why not just try it and see for yourself?

It will be a single stereo file with downmixed surround information.:)

MP3 preserves quite well surround informations, especially if you use the "--alt-preset standard" preset with Lame.

I would say that 32kbps is low bitrate, and 128 overkill :D
