I have an SBLive! soundcard and a external Dolby-Digital decoder..I want from my movies to pass the sound (AC3) throught SPDIF at the decoder..With the original drivers from SB I had no luck with this.I search the forum and found an alternative driver name KX (http://www.kxproject.com)...These are great..BUT I can't use SPDIF pass throught..Every time I play a movie or DVD with DD the drivers decode it( and tha mapping is wrong)...Anyone has an idea??(Or maybe an alternative driver)..I don't like very much the window's own driver..It sound a little muddy :)..
I tried the Kx's forum but is seems to be down...

Thanks in advance,
MoonWalker

P.S I also read the AC3 Q&A but I can't find anywhere the specific version of the drivers it mentions

I have WinXP SP1

Regarding the mapping:

The kX drivers swap rear and front channels by default. I'm not sure that this is your issue but I'd have a look in the settings. I'm not sure how to enable SPDIF passthrough in the newer drivers, maybe I find the time to check that at the weekend.

Cheers,
