asf or asx ripper wanted...

i am trying to 2 find a asf or ripper.
can anybody recormend one?

but i have to ask some some more questions..about the topic...
how do i please use virtual dub to rip asf/ asx streams...eg to record streamed videos off the web?

Instead of playing the streams in media player, you right click them to save them. If they are an asx file, you open them in a text editor and find the .asf file referenced. You then download that file also, and use VDubMod to read that file.

problem is these bastards streams open up in sperate browser windows.

You should try this. I don't know if it works with most recent streams (i.e. wmv).
