I NEVER WILL EVER USE ANY OGG (NOR PLAY) SOUND STREAM AGAIN!!!!!!!!!! a year or so ago, i installed the decoder because i had this file with an ogg stream. since that time, on that computer the sound had many issues. first, i experienced something like you're describing but it was a terible crackling sound when playing 48 khz audio. after a few weeks i found out if i kept the computer case well ventilated (cover off) it wouldn't make that sound. also my soundcard would act up and wouldn't work sometimes when i rebooted and would tell me to reinstall drivers. so i got in the habit of always removing the sound card from device manager when i restarted. anyway, formatted that hd on that computer a while back installed windows, no problems at all. and i know for a fact all those problems surfaced right after installing that damn codec. good luck, i hope you don't have the same problem i had. i was running a 333mhz p2 with an isa bus sound blaster 16 sound card. sorry i don't have an answer...just use wmp if it works i guess. you're using some odd codecs and formats there by the way, and why are you playing ogg files through winamp? while watching a movie none the less:p
