If anyone remembers, when Instantcopy 7 was released, JandR was the first to have it for sale and shipped. Amazon and Buy.com a close second. Here are a few links to who has Instantcopy 8:

JandR has it in stock for $39.88 + $4.95 shipping (http://www.jandr.com/JRProductPage.process?Merchant_Id=1&Section_Id=1891&Product_Id=3729395&showcase=t)

The Nerds Has It In-Stock For $37.23 + $10 Shipping (http://www.thenerds.net/productpage.asp?un=175004&s=1)

Buy.com Direct Link To Instantcopy 8 for $38.23 (http://www.buy.com/retail/product.asp?sku=20359124&loc=105&sp=1)

Amazon Direct Link For Instantcopy 8, No Price Listed (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B0000D8ISD/qid=1063828407/sr=8-2/ref=sr_8_2/002-3753157-5152024?v=glance&s=software&n=507846)

MFR Part # is: 210100308

JandR is probably the best bet.

One thing I noticed, you have to search for "instant copy", putting a space between words, in order to pull it up on their websites. It's not a single word. Just a FYI in case someone tries searching at other websites.

These are pointless threads IMHO. Why don't you post like this when you see it IN STOCK and Shipping?

This wastes people's time on this forum:

Why because if they see "Where To Buy Instancopy 8, Listed On Some Websites" they assume it's for sale when it's not.

how about sticking this info onto the end of the IC8 pre-orders thread for future reference?

Found it in stock at The Nerds. Says they have 591 qty on hand and they ship same day if order is received by 4pm. Only down side is $9.99 shipping. If you want it ASAP, this is probaly the best choice.

I'll personally be waiting till I can get it for cheaper.

i did a quick search to buy it in the uk...........
but none of the shops actually list it as version 8.

how can i be sure (apart from buying direct from pinnacle) that i will be getting version 8?

i can't remember what the retail box looks like for 7.0.......and has the artwork changed for version 8?

thanks
KYUSS

Just look for the MFR Part # 210100308. That is version 8. Also, the boxes look slightly different. If you go to pinnacles website, you can see what the boxes look like. Also, Version 8 says "4x faster" or something close to that on the front of the box in big letters.

JandR now has it in stock, updated first post.

corection. when you go "more info" on the U.K. site the date given is 1/10/2003. thats 1st October and not the 10th. not all countries use month/day/year format you know.

the german site didnt give a date in the "more info" at all.

MackemX

your right, I wonder why I put the 10th of October because it's 01/10/02003

I even remember seeing it as 01/10/2003!

silly me :o

the links don't work anymore either as the session must have timed out

dragongodz

you probably did it subconciously because a lot of places do use American formating. :)

MackemX
26th September 2003, 06:53
nah, it wasn't that, I just had 10th of Oct on my mind for some stupid reason and now I can't remember. I even knew it was on a Friday in 2 weeks, maybe it's my next payday but something else is happening in two weeks and now I can't remember :)

01/10/2003 in American format is 10th January 2003 so it's pretty obvious which is the month

thanks for pointing it out though ;). Post edited

the site is a mess. I choose Deutsch it didn't look German to me, it was Dutch!

when I did get through to the German site the info was in English! The site is easily confused for some reason and this is probably why I saw the dates on the German site as part of it was in English :D

if you goto the German site from the main page and do a search for instantcopy and goto the IC8 full version page and then change it to English of the left, it still leaves ">> zurück zur Produktliste" above the release date, so I just assumed it had translated the page

silly me, I should have known better about the booby traps within Pinnacle's websites

why is it always so confusing with Pinnacle????

"01/10/2003 in American format is 10th January 2003 so it's pretty obvious which is the month"

I wish you guys would change your system. It always messes me up. In the US we would say January 10 2003 or 01-10-2003.

Yeah, how come the rest of the world won't learn our way of doing things here in the states and change you systems to meet our needs....lol ;)

the ugly american, it just comes to us naturally!

We can "save" the world from itself!

not to start a war here but I think it's common sense to have it as 01/10/03 lol :)

if someone asked you todays full date including the day is this not the way it would just naturally flow off your tongue?

todays date is Friday the 26th of September 2003

which consists of the day name, the day date then the month then the year

it's natural this way because its the day (Friday) which relates to days in the month (26th) which relates to months in a year (September) and finally the year (2003)

it's not a day into a month then months into days of of a month and days of a month into years as there aren't any months in a day of the month are there?

how many times when someone asks you the date would you quickly say Friday the 26th?

I rest my case :D

that's the correct order by the stubborn Brit ;)

Must be how/where one is raised.

When I'm asked the date (like when my wife is writing a check), I usually respond with, for example, "January 15th, 2004."

If someone asks me something about a date in conversation, I'll say for example, "Sure, we have January 15th open if that's good."

If you wish to buy the upgrade...I think till Sep 30th.. with free shipping for $29.99 you can buy it direct from Pinnacle. Remember this is a pre-order which means it isn't shipping quite yet.

mrbass quote :Remember this is a pre-order which means it isn't shipping quite yet... They began to ship IC8. This morning I received an E-Mail from FedEx informing me that I have a package from Pinnacle (IC8) in their facilities for pick-up. Sorry that today is saturday and their warehouse is closed...

Just got back from Fry's Electronics in Dallas, Tx. They have IC8 on the shelf for $49.99. I imagine by this time next week CompUSA and everyone else will also have it.

Not in the US. If someone said it your way, homeland security would be called and you would be wisked away for questioning. :p
