(We only speak English here - forum rules - Try http... - link to forum in German)

Sorry for the terrible German! I don't really speak it!

Thank you, I can read and understand english a litte bit, but not write and so I have the same problem.

I use DVD2SVCD since a long time for my SVCDs. It's the best program and I have read in the forum, that the new version has not the DTS-bug.

I have ripped a DVD "Jonny English" with Smartripper in the Buckup-Modus. This CD has a AC3 5.1 and a DTS Stream in German.
In DVD2DVD-Modus (for a DVD-R)I cannot extract the DTS Stream. The Logfile says "Stream not found".

Can any people help?

What happened when you used the internal ripping routines?

Also, I wonder if you could click the edit button on your post above and change the title to an english one? Thanks.

You shouldn't demux the dts track with vstrip (the ripper that dvd2svcd uses), because it corrupts the file.

The german Jonny English DVD has a DTS-Stream with the ID "0x8a".This stream ID can DVD2SVCD definitiv not extracted. Why?: I dont no. I tested it in all combinations and rippers.

After a extraction from all streams with Vobedit and a new DVD-Authoring with Ifoedit has my DTS-Stream the ID "0x89" and DVD2SVCD works fine!!!

I think the problem is the ID number from the german DTS-Stream.
