I succesfully converted a small dv clip that i edited with premier to divx5. I viewed the resulting divx clip and was quite exicted. I then went and made a few changes to my clip in order to obtain a better product.
First I went to the options tab and clicked on the credits tab and changed the profile to home theatre. I did this becaue my first movie that succesfully encoded had the last 10 seconds looking blurry and I thought that perhaps I had the credits portion setup for low resoultion and that is why the end was so blurry.
Second I used premier and added some mp3 audio to the beginning title section of the clip. This title was a static bitmap i think with a 10 second or so audio track.
I tried to encode several times again and each time vdub crashes. I'm sure that i screwed up something but i need a little help to figure out what. I'm considering reinstalling GK but I want to see if anybody here has any ideas about what went wrong. I have include below a copy of the GK log file, I hope this is what somebody can use to help me troubleshoot.
