Now, forgive me if this is a regular question, I used search and couldn't find anything about it.
Say I have a HD WM9 file. Is there a way to demux it, get rid of the audio, then remux it with a different audio file? The current audio file is in the WM9 format, which I have no idea how to send through the SPDIF connection I use on my HTPC as true 5.1.

Hi Bandit64
There should a couple of posts about this very subject because I remember writing about them.
The last was three months ago to Kastro68. You can find it here: -

@SMD
After demuxing his HD WM9 file using Windoze Stream Editor, the video will be in wmv format, yes? And maybe he wants his audio to be in AC3(?) so he can pass it thru SPDIF, I don't think he can mux wmv and AC3 together, or is that possible now?

True,
However it should be possible to run both the HD WMV9 video stream and a sepatate AC3 audio stream thru' WinMedia Classic. Untill some 'software wiz' invents an application that can mux the two together.
Atleast the Windows Media Stream Editor makes it very easy to separate and mux Windows Media streams!

Thanks for the help guys :) that looks just fine, and I think will work. I'll likely be testing it out quite soon.
As for the welcome, no need, but I do appreciate it :) I've been lurking here for ages. I just made an account way after in case I decided to post.
