How do you convert/encode my audio in my Xvid movie to .wav? I look at the properties and it uses the Morgan Steam Switchers codec. Do I need plugins on my Virtual Dub, Nandub or TMP to convert/encode? If so, where can I find it? If not is there any suggestion on how else I might be able to encode this? Thanks in advance.

virtualdub/virtualdubmod has an option which allows "save as wav"

i am sure thats what you need ;) -> read the doom9 guides for that

I'm smarter than I look Mr.Bond (and my movie is Die Another Day, isnt that ironic?) and I did use save wav but the file gets lagy, thats why now I demux it and use headac3he to convert it back to wav (which is working EXECLENT for the first file but my disc 2 is failing on me).

because the saved wav should be the same as the audio in the avi (except the format of course)

thats why now I demux it and use headac3he to convert it back to wav (which is working EXECLENT for the first file but my disc 2 is failing on me)you can also demux the audio with virtualdubmod (.wav, .mp3, .ac3, .ogg)

btw. "die another day" is the second best pierce brosnan bond movie after "goldeneye", the others are absolutely shit (imho ;) )

I havent watch much of those. Anyway, I did use VDubMod to demux. When saved to wav however, the streaming gets mixed so then it sounded lagy.
