im going back through, starting from scratch, on how to go from divx to dvd (http://www.doom9.org/mpg/avi2dvdr.htm) when i get to step 2: Audio Processing, and click on http://www.doom9.org/virtualdub_procedures.htm#ac3extraction it tells you to save the ac3 file with "save wav". the file im saving ends up being "***audio.WAV***"

few seconds later i come to "Now we're not quite done yet. The AC3 file we've just extracted contains a WAV header ..........BeSliced will create a new AC3 file called audio_Fixed01.ac3 (if the original file is called ***AUDIO.AC3***) and that's the file all programs should be able to process."

how in the world is my origional file suppost to be called audio.ac3 when i saved it as wav? when i drag my wav to besliced, i dont get dummy/fix file, i get a list of conversions. what am i forgetting to do, or is this some sort of type-o?

just rename your audio.wav file to audio.ac3 before feeding it to besliced. :)
