Welcome to the forum:
More information would be helpful. Which format conversion would you like to attempt, DVD->DVDR, DVD->SVCD, etc.? Have you done any testing at this point, or are you trying to figure out at which point to jump in? DVDShrink is a good starter tool if you're in possession of a DVD burner, but let us know a little more about your situation.

There are alot of threads in these forums that deal with episodic DVDs. You just didn't search well enough.
Most of the transcoders available like DVD2One, DVD Shrink, DVD95Copy, Instant Copy, etc...will allow you to backup your full disk. You can try using DVD Shrink first since it's freeware. There are lots of guides around the programs mentioned. Depending on the size of your DVD, these programs can provide you with great video quality. So if the total size of your Episodes exceed 6 GB, you're going to expect some video artifacts.
I assume you want to backup your episodic DVD unto a DVDR/RW.

I'm sorry, I guess I wasn't very specific. I've had great success in backing up episodic DVD to DVD+R where the vobs are all together (ex. VTS_1_.1 VOB, VTS_1_.2 VOB,etc.) Where I'm having trouble is getting everything correct when the episodes are in multiple vobs (VTS_3_.1VOB, VTS_3_.2 VOB, VTS_4_.1 VOB, etc.) If they were all together in one vob, I could use ifoedit to make ifos and then get dvd2one to do it's thing. With multiple vobs, ifo edit only creates ifo for the first episode. Again, I apologize for my ignorance on this subject, but I really am just starting out. With teenagers running around the house, you never know when your original collection of DVD will end up at a friends house forever.

Trust me...you can.;) It doesn't matter if they're in one or separate TitleSets. You mentioned using DVD2One. It had its "full copy" feature since version 1.1.0.
By the way, alot of newbies around here would have trouble trying to figure out what is 1.1, 1.1, 1.3, etc. I suggest you write it out (VTS_01_1.VOB, VTS_01_2.VOB, VTS_01_3.VOB) so that we can understand where you're coming from. Or you can just say they are all in Titleset 1 or VTS_01.
