hi. i've searched for ages and i'm getting very confused.

i have a wav file which is ntsc (29.969 fps), and i'd like to convert it to Pal (25 fps). i downloaded besweet and used the GUI for it, and set the preset to ntsc(29.96)>pal(25). the output file was very slow and and everyone's voice was low. i was expecting a diffference but not that much.

so i came here, where i read that when using besweet to convert from a 23fps ntsc to pal, the pitch correction works, but not the other way round. i've converted many 23fps wavs to 25fps sucessfully, but never reduced the fps before.

is there any way to do this?? i tried changing the sample rate with sscr and then using wavefix to change the header but the output was exactly the same.

anyone?

If your original file is an mpeg file you can open it up in dvd2avi and select force film and demux all tracks then save project that will leave you with a 23.97fps mpeg audio file that you can speed up to 25fps in BeSweet, hope this helps
