Problem converting to MPEG2

Hi,

I have an Xvid file which i have been trying to convert to mpeg2 (dvd) using tmpgenc, but on each occasion, the last 30 minutes of the file is blank but has audio only.

I have tried 2 conversions with different quality levels, but same thing keeps occuring.

I have played back the original file and the whole movie is there.

any idea's please?

I also tried to turn the audio into Ac3 using besliced and that came up with sync errors?

hi,
most likely this is caused by a corrupted frame in the avi... try to use divfix to fix it, or even more secure, cut out the part where it stops (remember to only cut at keyframes though!)
