In AudioHQ-Device Controls when I select 96kHz as Output Sampling Rate, I simply get no sound..

Is this because of the card I use(Audigy1), or the receiver I use(When I select 96kHz, receiver acts as if there isn`t any incoming data from dig.coaxiel port) ?
I couln`t get out of this whatever I tried..

Any suggestions ?

Probably the receiver. Why do you want to use 96 Khz anyways? If the source is 44.1/48 it won't help to upsample anyways (noticably).

I know, even if you select 96khz and play a 96khz file, sblive and audigy series downsamples it to 48khz and upsample it back to 96khz, this is where they suck..

But I still don`t think its the receiver I`m having problem, cause when I hook it up to a DVD-player playing Queen 24/96khz dvd, and select 96khz from its menu, the music plays well..
there must be something with this SPDIF crap,

Does 96kHz sampling work with your digital(I guess) receiver ?

I doubt it, but never really tried it for 2-channel material. My Philips Sonic Edge can only play 48 Khz material over spdif for AC3.

I got a jBL home theater system made onLy in maLaysia, and its a limited, rare product, the jBL officiaL service I once took it to even didn`t know it..

Anyway, is there any good sound card made for music(maybe onLy for it), not having that upsampling(48000) crap from sb and having 24bit/96kHZ capabiLities ?
