View Full Version : How to collate mpgs so they play as one movie?

I've started to put my SVCDs on DVD (too many discs otherwise).

This works OK for TV episodes (they take up a CD/mpg file each), but for movies spanning 2 or 3 discs this is a bit annoying. There's a considerable pause between each file when playing these DVDs. Also, I have to put a menu item for each file (using a simple DVD authoring package like DVDWS)

Is there a way to collate these SVCD mpgs so they are played as one file? Can this be done via authoring or with an editing sw? Any tips for such sw (preferably freeware) - all it needs to do is join these files but the result must be compliant mpg file and, quite important, keep audio in sync for second part of the file!

TIA

Try DVD Lab - supports the conversion and there is a guide over at www.DVDRHELP.com
