Hi all,
I know there is currently no MusePack (MPC) directshow filter available. At least not on the sites i usually visit and haven't read about one on several forums yet.
But my question is: is there maybe someone who made a filter for his own purposes and is willing to share it with us?
Does someone know about a cource for such a filter?
Thanks in advance

By decision of the current codec developer, Frank Klemm, the current MPC version (SV7) shouldn't be muxed on videos. Therefore, directshow filters will only be developed after SV8 is released. And there's no release date set yet.

Thanks for that reply.
I did not know about the reasons why no directshow filter yet exists.
Waiting for the future...

I may be talking BS, but it seems there IS a DShow filter for MPC existing already. Toff told me recently that the MPC plugin he coded for TCMP should work as a general DShow filter for all MPC material in other players also.
No idea if he just made jokes about me or not, you may test yourself ....

My understanding was that if someone (Toff) had the source code for TCMP, then they could make a DS filter in seconds, not that it would actually work as one.
