Good day all, as a prefessional DVD Author here in So Cal for a major company that authors those DVDs in your local store, we are trained to use Scenarist and for a good reason, it's the closest you can come to programming on the 10 event DVD disc. One of my fellow authors was a beta tester for Encore and although it lacks the industrial strength of Scenarist, I found it extremely easy to use and powerful. Powerful enough to be on the roster to replace certain mid level authoring tools here. I just want to know what you guys think of Encore or are we just way too much into this thing? I just can't believe how powerful this program is, I want to know I am not dreaming here.

as far as i tested it, dvd encore seems less intuitive than maestro, even if the look is nicer
dvd maestro is a "pretty old" app now, not updated anymore, but stills has my choice

once a "compile" is finished in dvd encore, "get vts sectors" in ifoedit changes some sectors, i think it's unacceptable from such an expensive app (encore)
once a "compile" is finished in maestro, "get vts sectors" in ifoedit changes nothing
for me this comparison is far from futile
