View Full Version : Hopefully a simple sub problem... mkv/ogm

I used vdubmod, lastest one, to create an ogm with 1 video stream, 2 audio (ogg) and 1 subtitle (.srt). PLayed the file with MPC, and everything worked but subs. So I reloaded the vsfilter, and the latest ffdshow (just for the helluv it) and now everything works with the ogm. I can switch audio tracks, and enable/disable the subs.

Now when I do the same thing with vdubmod and create an mkv file, everything works but the subs. It's as if the vsfilter is not pickup up the subs at all. The options for subs are greyed out in MPC, and I don't get my nice little green arrow in the task bar.

Any thoughts? I went through this forum, reading up on everything I could.. downloaded the latest mkv installer packs, etc, and like I said everything works fine but the subs. Ogms still work okay.

Just curious. I'm not at a point to convert my encoding method over yet, but I do like the option of multiple audio and subs, and looking forward to future developments.

What matroska parser filter version are you using ? Make sure to use Gabest' latest matroskasplitter.ax from http://sf.net/projects/guliverkli

OKay. I'm at work right now, but will double check that once I get back home. Thanks.
